Government says the overhead expenditure will reduce by at least five percent in this year’s budget. This is coming from the Head of the Efficiency Department of the Ministry of Finance, Patience Oniha at a press meeting in the Ministry’s Headquarters in Abuja.
The Efficiency department says its team will help regulate the internal control of ministries department and agencies so as to eliminate loopholes in the procurement process. According to the Head of Department, it will adapt a price guideline which all organisation must strictly adhere to.
