The Federal Capital Territory Administration is collaborating with the Federal Ministry of Environment to clean up the Federal Capital Territory. The alliance kicked off with a household and community environmental sanitation exercise in Kuje area council of the territory.
Ministers of the two ministries in a heartwarming gesture personally cleaned drainages, and swept markets and streets. In a manner that speaks of leading by example, the two Minister’s Mohammed Bello of FCT and Amina Mohammed of Environment stormed Kuje, an area council of the FCT, with brooms, shovels and rakes.
FCT Minister, at an earlier occasion solicited the help of the environment minister to help rescue the FCT from the sanitation rot enveloping the city. The appeal gave birth to the joint sanitation exercise.
