SENATE COMMITTEE INDICTS FORMER PRESIDENT, JONATHAN, OTHERS IN INFRINGEMENT ON MAITAMA DISTRICT PLAN

Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory is calling for the demolition of structures on green areas in Maitama district of Abuja. The Committee also indicts former President Goodluck Jonathan and 29 others over wrong appropriation of plots in designated green areas.

Others on the list are former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke, Acting National Chairman PDP, Uche Secondus and former Attorney General of the Federation Mohammed Adoke. Chairman of the Committee, says the names of those involved was discovered on an oversight visit to Maitama. He says these individuals are guilty of altering the Abuja master plan.
