Elections are here again in Taraba this time, the run offs in two state constituencies and one Federal Constituency. Ahead off the re runs, the police is not taking any chances as they are resolute in keeping law and order in the localities where the elections are taking place.
Following court decisions that saw the seats of three assembly members on Federal and two state vacant, the constituencies are poised again to go to the polls. The Police has been meeting with stakeholders to with a view to addressing some of the issues that may bring about a breakdown in law and order.
The security agency is fully determined to create a conducive and an enabling environment for free and fair elections
stressing the need for political leaders and party supporters to disengage themselves from thuggery and other acts that might amount electoral violence.
