SHERIFF TAKES OVER AS PDP NATIONAL CHAIRMAN, PROMISES TO REPOSITION PARTY

Former Borno State Governor and new National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ali Modu Sherif says he is taking over the party with a mandate from the leadership and members to re-position it as a truly National Party. The former Bornu state Governor who also undertook his official assignment as National Chairman of the party by welcoming a delegation from his own state.

That’s the reaction of members of the Peoples Democratic Party at its National Headquarters welcoming the new National Chairman, Ali Modu Sheriff, on his first day in office. Laying the groundwork for the new National Chairman, immediate acting National Chairman and deputy National Chairman, says the new National Chairman is coming on a rescue mission to help re-position the party after he and other members of the National Executive Committee have helped in stabilising it after its loss in the election.
