Farmers in Plateau have been smiling since the establishment of Agriculture Bank to revamp the agricultural sector in the state. The bank is expected to begin granting loans to farmers in the state to assist in their productions as reported by our Plateau State Correspondent.
The State Government is establishing the Bank with a view to encouraging indigenes of the state to engage in farming and boosting food production in the state as well as opening up more job opportunities for the youths in the agricultural sector. The Fadama Micro Finance Bank which is already in operation is been employed by the State Government following its fulfillment of the central bank of Nigeria.
