The Consumer Advocacy Foundation of Nigeria has been calling on Nigerians to desist doing any transaction with banks in Nigeria in protest of what it calls excessive bank charges on customers. It is expected that this protest would send a signal to the banking industry regarding what they term as exploitation.
Nigerians have had all sorts of charges levied against the from time to time, this time, the bank are the culprit bringing excessive charges and deductions to bear on their customers. Worried about this development, the group is calling on Nigerians to stand up to the bank in protest and refuse to transact business with any bank for the day.
Maybe be because it was not properly scheduled or for some other reasons, nobody seem to know about the planned day but have a thing or two to say about the banks.
