New Lawmakers sworn in at the Plateau state House of assembly today are being charged to live above board. The charge became necessary due to the lukewarm attitude of some lawmakers of the state assembly towards their legislative duties. The two lawmakers sworn in are from those who won in the February 20 rerun election done in Pankshin North and south.

The new Lawmakers are been warned against truancy, absenteeism and lukewarm attitudes towards legislative matters. Speaking after their inauguration the deputy speaker of the house, Yusuf Gagdi, called on the new members, Alice DIMLONG and Monday Dashe representing Pankshin North and South respectively to do their best in giving their people quality representation.
