It’s a situation that just won’t seem to go away. The issue of Fulani herdsmen killing, maiming, destroying farms and sacking communities. Its extending further even down to the eastern parts of the Federation. These attacks is again catching the attention of the highest law making body in Nigeria which is urging government to ensure that the grazing of their cattle does not infringe on the rights of the farming communities.

The Senate is noting that many of the herdsmen are insensitive to the economic and cultural interests of the of settled farm owners, they lead their herds to graze the farms leaving devastations in their trail. What is more of a bother is the fact that these herdsmen are usually heavily armed with modern firearms resulting in criminal activities.
