Plateau State Lawmakers have been berating the Ministries, departments and agencies in the state for being unprofitable over the years. They are charging them to do more than they currently are doing to ensure Swift generation of revenue to the state from their agencies. The charge comes from the State Lawmakers in the wake of budget proposal defence at the Plateau state House of assembly Complex.
According to the state lawmakers the state MDAs can no longer sit back and expect funds to be made available to them to run their budgets in view of the current economic situation in the country. House committee chairman on appropriation, Ezekiel Dakas says the ministries would get the needed support from the state lawmakers in their business ventures.
