Foreign owned media organisations have their work cut out as the federal government says they should be fair in reportage of happenings in the country especially the war on terror in the north east. Information and culture minister, Lai Mohammed says the government will continue to seek a mutually beneficial relationship with all media organisations in the country.

The Minister while welcoming the head of the Africa service of the voice of America, Nengushi Mengesha to his office says the federal government will partner with all foreign media organisations for capacity development for journalists in both the public and private owned media organisations.

He commended the efforts of the Voice of America in the dissemination of information but added that the federal government expects more balanced reportage, especially on the anti terror war currently on in the North Eastern part of the country.
