Dogs they say is man’s best friend and the Nigerian Police Force is taking this to heart with the training of its officers in the K -9 branch of sniffer dogs in the detection of improvised explosive devices and other security work.
Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase in his speech to the beneficiaries of the training delivered on his behalf by Ibrahim Adamu, says the Police will always do all within its power to build the capacity of its officers and men. Head of the police force animal branch, Charles Ugomoh, an assistant Inspector General says the training is to develop capacity and also save cost.
