PRO-BIAFRA AGITATION: KANU’S APPLICATION STALLS TRIAL

The trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has been stalled following‎ his application for stay of proceedings. At the resumed trial at Federal High Court in Abuja, Kanu through his Lawyer told the court that he has filed an appeal against the ruling of the court allowing prosecution witness to testify behind screen.

The Prosecutor, Mohammed Diri however admitted receiving a copy of the motion for stay of proceedings. Delivering a short ruling, Justice John Tsoho adjourned the case to April 15 for hearing of the motion on stay of proceedings.
