Well the House of Representatives is beginning to beam its light in the direction of the telecommunication operators whose networks are used as conduits for such calls.
Lawmakers in the lower legislative chambers are seriously condemning the act whereby Telecoms operators in the country subjects subscribers to a barrage of unsolicited calls and text messages against their will. Aliyu Madaki from Kano who made the observation in a motion which is seeking the House consent to declare what he describes as invasion of privacy, illegal and begin attracting stiff penalties.
