African Nations have again been asked to concentrate on developing other sectors of their economies rather than just on oil resources. Opening the sixth African Petroleum Producers Association conference in Abuja, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says West Africa must as a matter of urgency take a firmer stance on gas flaring which is a drain pipe for resource.
Giving a highlight of the importance of the association to African Nations, the executive secretary of APPA, Mahaman Laouan Gaya says countries can use this as an opportunity to do a peer review towards developing sectors of their economies even with investments from oil.
