Taraba state Governor Darius Ishaku has signed the state 2016 appropriation into law. The bill of One Hundred Billion Naira is been approved by the Taraba State House of Assembly. Our Taraba state correspondent Uduak Godwin reports that the estimate was jacked up from the initial proposal of Sixty Eight Billion naira earlier submitted by the Governor.
After the interface with the ministries, departments and agencies of government at the budget defence, Taraba Lawmakers decided to review upward the internally generated revenue and increase the budget estimate to over one hundred billion naira is against sixty eight billion naira earlier submitted.
The Lawmakers maintain that a proper implementation of the budget is in the interest, progress and development of the state.
