It was a solemn atmosphere at plenary Wednesday as a motion by Senator Ovie Omo Agege from Delta South seeking the Senate to pay tributes to Felix Ibru, the first Executive Governor of Delta state who recently passed on. Members while eulogising late former Governor recounted why Ibru was such a great man.
Felix Ibru by no small means was a man of many parts, a great business man, an administrator and an astute legislator. This is the tone of the Senate as member after member rose to pay tribute to one of their own.
Senator Omo Agege in his motion is calling for a one minute silence in his prayer but not before first telling his colleagues some achievements of the late Governor.
