The National Assembly has been explaining why it decided to again shift the date for the passage of the 2016 appropriation bill. Speaking with news men spokesman for the Senate Saidu Abdulahi and Abdulkadir Namdas of the House say there is no basis for the rumours making the rounds that there are discrepancies in the figures.
Yet again the National Assembly is postponing the passage of the 2016 budget. Assurances were given by the Senate Wednesday that the budget will be laid for clause by clause consideration Thursday, but that’s not to be as a new date is been set.
