Nigerians have been encouraged to support the APC-led Federal Government in its bid to restore the confidence of Nigerians in their leaders. Senator representing Lagos West, Olamilekan Adeola disclosed this at a forum in Lagos adding that the level of rot the President Muhammad Buhari’s administration met when it assumed office makes it necessary for a thorough job to be done, a pace he agrees many citizens perceive as being slow.
The All progressives Congress, APC came into power at the federal government level in 2015 with the emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari. During the campaigns before the April elections, several promises were made by APC as they contested against the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, which has ruled the nation for some 16 years. The promises border on improved power, security, and employment amongst others.
After 10 months of APC at the helm of affairs and few if any physical evidence of such promises seen, Nigerians seem to believe things are moving too slow for their yearnings. APC however urges citizens to be supportive pointing out areas of governance the present government has positively impacted.
