Edo State Governor, Adam Oshiomhole has been seeking for differential payment in educational fee. This according to the Governor will make education available and affordable to poor. The governor disclosed that majority of wealthy individual sponsor their children abroad, spending large foreign currency. He says these resources can be used to transform the economy and generate revenue.
He laments the decay of infrastructure in most government schools in the country urging proprietors of private institution to ensure that the quality of student they bring out is employable in the Labour market.
