Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and its counterpart the Trade Union Congress (TUC) is setting up for a serious showdown with Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai for insisting to go on with staff verification exercise in the state.
The Union is describing the action of the governor as anti democratic and is calling on Kaduna workers to ignore the governor’s directive by refusing to fill the verification form.
President of the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC Comrade Ayuba Wabba says such directive is discriminative and has violated workers fundamental human rights.
