Edo State chapter of the All Progressive Congress has denied allegations that it planned to doctor list of delegates that would participate in the party primaries. It said it was difficult for anybody to alter the delegate list even though the party constitution provided ways for changing any executive member. The party was responding to furore raised by some aspirants that the State Party Chairman, Barr. Anselm Ojezua planned to alter the party’s delegate list.
State Publicity Secretary of the party, Comrade Godwin Erhahon, who stated this at a press briefing said a vote of confidence was passed on Ojezua after the party executive discovered that the alarm raised by the aspirants was false.
Comrade Erhahon said they were convinced by the explanation of the party chairman that no fresh attempt was made to alter the list.
