The Federal Government is seeking private partnership in actualising the National Health Act. Alexander Omoru representing the Minister for Health says Government is working tirelessly to reduce the rate of maternal mortality rate in the country. The Federal Government is improving the primary health care facility at the Grassroot level to meet up with the sustainable development goal. He says the government is ensuring that people in the rural area are making adequate use of the facility on ground.
Country director of Management Science for Health, Zipporah Kpamor says 230,000 children die daily all over the world as a result of preventable death. She reiterates that since the inception of the programme, it has reached out to 4.4 million individual, 750,000 pregnant women, 66,000 orphan and vulnerable children.
