More voluntary Organisations say they are ready to boost the Federal Government’s war on insurgency by contributing their quota through information sharing with the military and the provision of support services. The scout movement which is the latest of such voluntary Organisation says it will be ready to serve the nation if and when the military or the Federal Government ask it to do so.
Just a few days after the Hunters Association in Borno and Adamawa states renewed the call on the Federal Government to allow it to join the war against the Boko Haram terror group, the Boy Scouts have also joined the fray. Speaking through its National Commissioner under the aegis of the scouting Federation of Nigeria, the scouts say they can provide scouting services to the military.
