The National Assembly is finally submitting the details of the Twenty Sixteen Budget to President Muhammadu Buhari for assent. Following the passage of the budget by the National Assembly, the President demanding a detailed account of the various appropriations before signing it into Law.
It was set to be another stirring in the pool between the Legislature and the Executive. Having passed the 2016 Budget the expectation is that the President will immediately assent to it, but President Muhammadu Buhari needed to have the full detail before putting pen to paper.
Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation says the detail are now ready and is expecting the National Assembly liaison to the President to forward it to President Buhari as soon as possible.
