TOWN HALL MEETING ADVOCATES PEACEFUL POLLS

Minister for the Federal Capital Territory is calling on voters in the territory to conduct themselves peacefully before, during and after the council elections in the FCT. Speaking at a town meeting with stakeholders about the forth coming elections, the Minister says security agents will not hesitate to deal with perceived trouble maker if caught.

Peace is the watch at the stakeholders meeting where groups involved in the council polls have been getting together to resolve to eschew bitterness in the coming elections. Permanent Secretary of the territory asks that all parties involved in the electoral process must show understanding with one another as they go to vote on Saturday.
