Elections in the FCT recorded a most peaceful atmosphere, but some skirmishes occurred in some parts like the Kuje area where the elections almost degenerated to trouble. Our correspondent Anietie Patrick who covered the Kuje area council reports that complaints came from voters regarding the card readers.
This was the situation at Godoji unit of Kuje area council where voters were queued but the card readers were not effective which almost derailed the peaceful conduct of the election. Simmering down, local observers are praising the entire process so far.
