SECURITY AGENTS RAID BLACK MARKETER’S HIDEOUT IN JOS

A combined team of security personnel in Jos have raided the hide out of black marketers who have been flouting the order to stop the sale of petroleum products in gallons. The police command in Jos, the Plateau State capital had last week placed a blanket ban on the sale of petroleum products in gallons, which has been the practice since the current fuel scarcity began.

After the order was given for those selling fuel in the black market to desists, several of them are continuing with their illegal trade. In response to their disobedience, a combine team of DSS, Police, Civil Defense among others have raided their hide outs in Jos with the aim of finally putting them out of business.

Places raided included , NNPC Mega Station at Dogon Karfe, Dadin Kowa first gate, Rantya Junction among others and Products seized were freely given to motorist while the containers were perforated.
