President Muhammadu Buhari has called on parents to accord girl child equal access to education as their male counterparts as was of reducing the illiteracy level in the country. President Buhari made the plea at the public presentation of the book titled “The Essentials of Beauty Therapy, Authored by his wife Aisha Buhari. Represented by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, President Buhari says the book reinforced the call for equal educational opportunities for both male and female child.
Represented by his wife, Oluremi Tinubu the Chairman of the Book Presentation Bola Tinubu commends the author of the book for giving an insight into an industry yet to be fully explore in the country. For her part, Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari says proceeds from the book presentation will be dedicated to the vulnerable members of the society. Though proceeds of the book is expected to be dedicated to the vulnerable members of the society but safe return of the kidnapped Chibok girls and strengthening existing security apparatus in the country is topmost on the wish list of Nigerians.
