The Senate is Wednesday agreeing to drop all issues that have brought contentions between members since the Eight National Assembly came into office. Concurring on its decisions at a closed door session, deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweramadu says the senate is setting up a committee of two members each for the geo-political zone to help solve issues between members from these zones. Quite a number of decisions are being taken to quell some of the problem pervading the eight.

The resolve is to among others support the President of the Senate Bukola Saraki as he faces trial the Code of Conduct Bureau until he’s proven guilty. Reconciliation committees are also being set up to trouble shoot between members who are having issues with the Senate. On this ground the Ethics Committee is to drop all charges against Senator Kabiru Marafa who is accused of defaming the Senate.
