The American Government says it’s working leads that will facilitate the rescue of the Chibok girls. The America’s ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power affirmed this will briefing journalist after a closed meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa. More than two years into their abduction, hope of rescuing the over two hundred Chibok girls has never diminished.

The support of International Community in the fight against Boko Haram according to government is yielding the desired result. Emerging from a closed door meeting with President Buhari, the American ambassador to the United Nations says the US is determined to assist Nigeria in the rescue of the abducted Chibok girls. According to her, the US is pursuing leads the would facilitate the safe return of the over two hundred girls.
