The European Union says it is investing 12 million Euro in Nigerian Economy so as to strengthened the quality policy of Nigeria products. Head of trade and economic section European delegation Filipo Amato made this known at a workshop on development of standards and engagement of the private sector, in Abuja. He says there is need to improve the quality of Nigerian product as well as ensure that the health of Nigerian are not affected by substandard products.
Nigeria is one of the most promising producers in the world as Agric business is a great potential in Nigeria. But due to over reliance of Nigerian export and government revenues on oil the Nigerian economy is going through a difficult period. The European Union says it is supporting Nigeria’s effort aimed at improving the standard and quality of its products through various programmes.
