In line with President Muhammadu Buhari’s priority to ensure the security of lives and property of its citizen and guarantee a secure environment for socio-economic activities to strive without hindrance, the Federal Government is calling all the security agencies to crush and deter all threats of crisis and conflict that will disrupt the peace and security of the country. Minister for Defence Masur Dan-Ali made this call at a seminar on media engagement in crisis situation for military, security and response agencies in Nigeria.
He says there is need for security and response agencies to constantly engage in essential task required for ensuring safety and security of Nigeria territorial integrity. Speaking at the event, the minister for Defence says the present administration is creating an enabling environment for peace and harmonious co-existence within and outside the country.
The Federal Government he says will be providing a conducive environment for security and response agencies working in the north-east to continue discharging their responsibilities of securing lives and property of Nigerian during crisis.
