KASTINA STATE SET TO HOLD ECONOMIC SUMMIT

Kastina State Government is concluding arrangements to hold it’s economic and investment summit as part of measures to diversify the state ailing economic situation. Addressing the news men in Abuja, Governor Aminu Masari says the forthcoming summit is meant to sensitize the world on the abundant investment opportunities in the state. The Governor says the summit is aimed at encouraging local investor who may be interested in investing viable businesses in the state.

The summit is conceives as part of a platform to showcase the state natural economic features to the outside world as well as to attract investors to the developmental needs of the State. Chairman, organising committee Kastina State Economic and Investment Summit says the theme of the summit unlocking investment potentials for sustainable development is a result of the policy thrust of the present administration to ensure that the state is open for private business and expose the potentials that abound in the state.

Based on the need assessment, the private sectors has indicated interest in about 140 projects across the state which include Agric business and its entire Value Chain, Solid Minerals, Power, property development as well as hospitality among others.
