The Adhoc Committee set up by the Plateau state house of assembly to look into the activities of miners in the state is sounding a note of warning to Miners to adhere strictly to environmental laws and community development. The warning is coming as members of the Committee go on the spot assessment of mining activities in Wase Local Government Area.
Chairman of the Adhoc Committee says Miners are not keeping to Environmental Laws as they carry out their mining activities. He’s warning that the State Assembly would be taking drastic actions against them as all the allegations laid up against the miners have been confirmed from assessing the Environmental Degradation of the areas.
