NIGERIA SIGNS FIVE YEARS MOU WITH SPANISH LEAGUE

The Nigeria Professional Football League has displayed tremendous turnaround this season compared to the previous season in all aspect. Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the League Management Company says the league needs to get more professional like other foreign leagues to meet up the standard. To this end, the league is signing a memorandum of understanding with the Spanish football league as a way of boosting the Nigerian Professional League.

Minister for Youths and Sports, Solomon Dalong says the partnership with La-Liga is a tremendous one as it’ll unbundle and open opportunities relying on the expertise of the European Federation in not just football but other sports as well. Chairman of the League Management Company highlights some of the key benefit of the Memorandum and its capacity to development, train as well as improve commercial activities seeing as Nigeria will be aligning with the world best league company.
