The Federal Government is assuring the safety of all practicing Journalists in Nigeria. Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed gave this at the Federation of African Journalist meeting in Abuja.
He says the Federal Government will ensure that no right of journalists is being trampled upon adding that this present administration is giving the journalist the necessary support to move forward.
The Minister says this present administration condemns the victimisation of journalists in the course of their study highlighting the unnecessary owing of salaries by some media organisation he appeals that media owners should pay the salaries and allowances of their members in good time.
