President Muhammadu Buhari has sought for the cooperation of Labour Unions in the quest of his administration at tackling challenges confronting the nation. The President made the appeal at May day rally held at the Eagle Square in Abuja. Correspondent Abiola Oluwole reports that President Buhari says government is capable of handling the demands of the Labour Unions.
Labour Unions across the Federal Capital Territory converge once the Eagle Square to join their counterparts in commemorating the 2016 workers’ day celebration. After the usual March past from the workers, their leaders mount the podium to echoed their into the ears of government. Speaking one after the other, the Labour leaders decry inability of some states to pay workers salaries. They however appealed to government to explore avenues that will turn around the fortune of the country.
