The Federal Government is in the process of ramping up infrastructure development with an implementation and programme approach to the Power, Works and Housing Sector. Power, Works and Housing Minister Babatunde Fashola while speaking to a delegation of the Nigerian Economic Summit group disclosed that the Nation has too many plans and what is important now is too take action and work together with groups like the Nigerian Economic Summit group to deliver services to all Nigerians.
The Minister in his address to the team led by its first Vice Chairman, Sola David-Borha, disclosed that the federal government will no longer just plan, adding that the nation has in his opinion over planned. The next step according to him is what he describes as a project implementation and programme plan.
Earlier in her address, leader of delegation and first Vice Chairman of the group disclosed that all the NESG wants is a partnership with government to ensure the delivery of service to all Nigerians especially the Power, Works and Housing sector which she describes as strategic.
