As parts of efforts aimed at maintaining discipline and the highest regards for fair hearing a general court martial of the Nigerian army will commence sitting on the 9th of May for the trial of two major generals. This is coming after the inauguration of the court martial at the Army headquarters garrison.
The Judge advocate administering the Oath on the President of the Special Court Martial along with three other members in accordance with the provision of the Armed Forces Act.
With this over, the convening order for the court martial by the Chief of Army staff was read by the President of the Special Court Martial.
