The Taraba chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP had concluded its State Congress with former Chairman Victor Bala re-emerging State Chairman. Twenty four other Executives emerged as well to steer the affairs of the party for the next four year promising to give members of the party a benefitting tenure.
The Party members say the election have been conducted in line with the Party’s Constitution and guidelines with about 671 delegates from all parts of the state converging to vote. Speaking shortly after the State Congress, the newly-elected Chairman says the New Executive would give all party members a sense of belonging, initiate reconciliation processes and bring back all aggrieved members who had left the party.
