The Federal Government will stand with contractors who are handling projects in the Power Sector to ensure speedy completion of such project and the achievement of the objectives of incremental power. The Federal Government will also offer any required assistance to ensure that they deliver projects on schedule.
This a usual gathering of contractors who are handling projects for the transmission company of Nigeria but today they have an unusual visitor in the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, who is attending the meeting in an unprecedented move.
According to him, he has taken the decision to partake in the meeting to have a good idea of what is holding up some of the priority projects in the sector. He added that the Ministry has an objective and will work with all stakeholders to achieve.
