Motorist in Kaduna State have been criticizing the sudden removal of the fuel subsidy by the Federal Government, saying timing is wrong. Many of them say Government displayed insensitivity especially by not alerting Nigerians about the impending change in the pump price of petrol.
Our Correspondent who has been going round Kaduna metropolis reports that motorist groan over the new fuel pump price saying, though the Federal Government might have good intention however if subsidy must be done away with, it shouldn’t be so sudden.
Some motorist strongly frowns at the level of insensitivity and poor mannerism displayed by the Federal Government in raising the pump price of petrol from N86.50 to N145 per litre. They are condemning the manner in which the Federal Government hits the heart of Nigerians with breaking news on policies or actions that would have immediate negative impact on their lives without wide consultations and public enlightenment.
