The new Plateau State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp, Solomon Olasupo, is promising to work assiduously for peace in the state. Olasupo made the promise while visiting the chairman of the Plateau Traditional Council, Jacob Buba, the Gbong Gwom Jos.
The new NSCDC State Commander, who was on a familiarization visit to the Gbon Gwon Jos, Jacob Buba says his primary goal in Plateau is to consolidate on the current level of peace in the state, adding that the traditional rulers need to be carried along in the continuous search for peace.
He’s urging other security agencies in the state to adequately inform the royal fathers of their activities since they are the custodians of the culture and people in their domains.
