As the nation waits with bated breath to know the outcome of the ongoing talks between the federal government and organised Labour and Civil Societies Coalition, the House of Representatives Ad-Hoc Committee on the issue mandated to interface with Labour has disclosed that it had fruitful discussions with the leaders of both umbrella unions.
Chairman of the Committee and Deputy Chief Whip of the House, Ado Doguwa, expresses his delight at the frank and fruitful but friendly nature of the talks with labour leadership while assuring that the talks between Labour and the Federal Government will be positive for the nation.
He added that the labour leadership have given assurances that the talks with the Federal Government will be done with the nation’s well being as the over-riding concern for the unions.
