In line with the Defence and Police Officers wife’s vision to compliment both directly and indirectly to the welfare of the Nigerian armed forces and their families , DEPOWA has empowered fourteen widows of the fallen heroes and twelve women the from private sector. President Defence, Police Officers Wife Association, Omobolanle Olonisakin describes this as a way of contributing to national development.
Graduation is a time of celebration and triumph of the student who have worked so hard. Speaking at the event, President Defence Police Officers Wife Association says the idea of the skill acquisition is to empower the women and the less privilege there by contributing to socio economic development in the country.
