BILATERAL RELATIONS: CUBA TO TRAIN MORE NIGERIAN DOCTORS

Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria, Carlos Sosa, is assuring that his country remained committed to assist in transforming the Nigeria’s Health Sector through technological transfer and training of doctors in the country. Sosa who stated this at a media briefing in Abuja said his country will continue to explore more ways to improve the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

The Republic of Cuba is among countries that are reported to have achieved feat in the healthcare and with this the Cuban ambassador, believes that Nigeria stands a great chance of benefiting from Cuba. Reaffirming his country’s commitment to assisting Nigeria by sharing their acquired health based knowledge the Ambassador says Nigeria shares common values with his country.

The Cuban Government will not hesitate to exchange ideas with Nigerian scholars especially on research towards finding lasting solutions to some dreaded health challenges both in Nigeria and Cuba.
