The House of Reps is mandating its Committees on Sports and Foreign Affairs to investigate reasons for the visa denial of Nigerian athletes for the Rio Olympic Qualifier by the Turkish Embassy. Members observe that such actions could affect the moral of the athletes and affect their chances of qualifying for the games.
The refusal by the Turkish Embassy to grant entry visas to the Nations wrestlers and Coaching Crew prompted serious condemnation from the members who say if the American Embassy granted visas to the team there is no reason Turkey should deny them. The attitude of the Turkish Embassy is for them annoying.
