The frequent clashes between Herdsmen and Farmers is the subject of discussion at the memorial in honour of Late Abdul Raheem Tajudeen, a social activist who sought for peaceful resolution between the Herdsmen and Farmers throughout the count. Minister of Solid Minerals Resources, Kayode Fayemi disclosed that all communities involved in the feudal clashes should look for a way of managing relationship between the Herdsmen and Farmers before the situation get out of hand.
The Minister says in order for the constant clashes between the Herdsmen and Farmers to come to an end all the concerned parties should pursue peace the interest of the country and look for means of unifying the various to resolve the crisis. The National Grazing Reserve will be disastrous to the development of the country according to some who say it will not promote the growth of the sector.
Government should rather in their opinion look for ways to expand the meat industry and engage in massive production of canned beef yoghurt and dairy product, and exporting this product.
