Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello says his administration has set up an investigative panel to unravel the cause of the crisis that claimed four lives in the Pando-Gari area of the State. Bello stated this while briefing State House Correspondent after a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The global fall in oil price has been having negative impacts on governance across states in the country. The shortfall in revenue due to States is making impossible with must State Government to pay salaries of workers talk less of completing old or embarking on new developmental projects.
While Governors explore ways of dealing with the issue, Niger state governor says reduction in the monthly allocation due to his state is making it expedient for him to meet labour leaders on how best to tackle salary issue. He maintains that an investigative panel has been instituted to unravel the cause of the Pan-Dogari crisis.
